⁴ He made a grate for it, which was a latticework of bronze, and he made four bronze rings for the four corners of the latticework grate. ⁵ He set the grate in place below the top edge of the altar, so that the grate rested halfway down from the top of the altar.^{[a] 6} He made poles for the altar, poles of acacia wood, and overlaid them with bronze.
