He made a grate for it, which was a latticework of bronze, and he made four bronze rings for the four corners of the latticework grate. He set the grate in place below the top edge of the altar, so that the grate rested halfway down from the top of the altar.[a] He made poles for the altar, poles of acacia wood, and overlaid them with bronze.
